I LOVE this session. Like, love love love. Rosa is a Chelan senior, graduating this year (2019) and she is so full of life!! Her eyes literally sparkle, and even though we had never met each other before she showed up to my house for this shoot, we had an absolute ball.
Some of the things that made this shoot special were where we were located, her wardrobe, and the fact we had Chelan Glam ladies come out for hair and make up. This was literally my back yard, and we chased the sunset as we quickly ran out of light when it sank behind the Butte. It makes me want to take more pictures around here because my house is the last one on a road that overlooks the Chelan Gorge, the river below and the Butte hanging above. Simply put, it’s magical when the sun sets.
She brought two outfits with her, and I love that the first was a traditional Mexican blouse, hand embroidered along the neck line and with a matching embroidered belt. It was absolutely beautiful. Her second dress fit so well with the landscape around us, all I had to do was place her in front of the shrubbery and it was like boom, editorial-perfect *heart eyes*.
Put all the outside factors aside, when you have eyes that radiate joy, the camera picks that up– it’s un-hidable. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. 🙂
