Lately I’ve been trying to push my art to another level. I don’t want to create within comfort zones that don’t push my boundaries…it’s when we are testing ourselves and our knowledge that we grow.
Krissa and Max were the absolute perfect couple to help with this. For one, they were my first engagement session (que the nervous pre-shoot jitters!!) and for two, GREAT models. I mean, they are getting married in a month (woot woot) and their love is tangible. My goal was to capture real emotion in a way that leaves you almost feeling awkward, because YOU can almost feel it. My other goal was to play with lines within the image and capture natural movement that’s interesting.
I’m not sure that either of these goals were accomplished but I learned SO much in the process, I absolutely can’t wait for the next couples session!
