About three years ago, my husband bought me the camera strap I had been drooling over for months. It has been one of THE BEST gifts ever, as I’ve found so much use for it time and time again. However, this leather strap has some downsides as well, so I wanted to make a review video weighing the pros and cons for you guys. If you are interested in investing in a strap, there are so many options to choose from!!  I wanted to put my experience out there in hopes it will help you make a decision as you wade through the sea of camera straps.

As many wedding photographers know, this is a hard job for your body. You carry around 2-3 cameras plus lenses for 9+ hours, and pretty soon your back is literally screaming at you. Before I had the Holdfast strap, I simply carried my camera and lenses around either in bags or my hands, making it so I had to set things down\get things out to change lenses. It wasn’t ideal, and it felt like a waste of time when I needed to hurry and not miss those quick-paced and special moments.

Overall, I LOVE my strap. It changed the way I shoot weddings and made it so much easier and convenient. As I said, there are a few cons that I didn’t know or think about before I got the strap. Even with that said, I’m pretty sure I would go with Holdfast again.

Your turn–I want to hear YOUR thoughts. If you have a Holdfast strap already, leave a comment and let me know if you love it or not! Even if you have a different brand entirely, let me know what you think. Love it? Hate it? Why? Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the video!
