Every wedding I shoot carves out a spot in my memory + heart. They have their unique stamp and personality. This wedding was no exception! It was so special and these two are so beautiful together.
Angela and Karl are quirky, loving, the perfect balance of yin and yang. I was so honored to shoot this wedding and work with a few new vendors I hadn’t had the chance to yet! Over the past year of working with Angela and Karl to plan their engagement shoot and then their wedding day, I have grown to love these sweet people!
You are not going to believe it, but this wedding’s location was Angela’s second home growing up. It’s so breathtaking it could be a full-on wedding venue (it has a VINYARD?!). Right across the street, there is a beautiful orchard as well! When they first contacted me about a “backyard wedding”, this certainly was not what I expected!! I also love it when I get the chance to tag team with my husband for weddings. He was their live music for cocktail hour and my second shooter at times. Getting to be a team with my husband these days makes them even more special.
