You are going to drool over this engagement session (or at least I will) ! Sammi, Loren and I hiked down the gorge trail in Chelan, and then off-roaded it to reach these incredible locations. I may have ended up with a cactus or two (or three) on my legs but oh my goodness… WORTH IT.
What I love most about this session, is how they fully embraced who they are and made this shoot %100 them. Everything from the location they picked, clothing, props… it’s all stuff Sammi + Loren would be doing and places they would go already. In fact, this is really close to their first date where Sammi fell off a cliff LITERALLY and had to hike out of there before making it to a hospital. They hike and fish together, they run our local feed store together, they love all things farm, and I seriously adore them as a couple. They are building a life together that I admire, and I feel so lucky to take their photos.
Their wedding happens to be on my birthday, and I CAN’T WAIT. If this engagement shoot was any inkling of the wedding to come, these guys will have an incredible day, a total reflection of their love for each other and the life they are building here in Lake Chelan.
