This session was one for the books! There were so many factors that made this extra special, for all of us. For one- Lonnie and Teresa were celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary! THAT IS SO COOL, and no small feat. Marriage is hard work, but these two make it look effortless and the love is tangible.
Secondly, that’s my dad and step mom 😉 I was so honored to share the evening with the two of them, stepping out of the role of Daughter, and into the roll of photographing a moment that took over a decade to build. It felt really, really special.
And thirdly…this spot I took them happens to be a hidden nook on the Butte, (the mountain that overlooks Chelan). And it also happens to be the place my husband has taken me for years, LONG before we were married. He basically wooed me up there. I mean, just look at these photographs…there is something pretty epic about this place. Especially when your cozied up with your love. (ewe gross).
So yeah, with no further ado, here are my parents at sunset in the wooing nook over Chlean.
These are so dreamy and wonderful Kayla, I definitely got swept up into their story! Also can we talk about Teresa’s killer legs??
